Here’s how to start with ArangoDB and Docker Machine: First you need to install Docker Machine as described here. I struggled with Boot2Docker several times and recently tried Docker Machine with the Web UI Kitematic currently in beta. Portainer has a broader approval, being mentioned in 23 company stacks & 17 developers stacks compared to Kitematic, which is listed in 5 company stacks and 8 developer stacks. To test a feature in a special version I use docker images that need a virtual machine on MacOS. Viadeo, Betaout, and Bluestem Brands are some of the popular companies that use Portainer, whereas Kitematic is used by Docker, Car Throttle, and Athento. Kitematic's one click install gets Docker running on your Mac and lets you control your app containers from a graphical user interface (GUI). It includes the Docker client, Compose, Machine, Kitematic, and VirtualBox. My idea is for everytime I push changes into Github, images will be push onto docker repo, after they're finished it will run docker-compose automatically.

So I'm building a Rasa chatbot hosted on Github and in my docker-compose.yml there're 3 images from docker repo. Kitematic is an open source tool with 10.5K GitHub stars and 1.25K GitHub forks. On the other hand, Portainer provides the following key features: Create images from any folder with a Dockerfile in it.Some of the features offered by Kitematic are: Kitematic and Portainer belong to "Container Tools" category of the tech stack. It has never been so easy to manage Docker !. Portainer is available on Windows, Linux and Mac. Portainer is an open-source lightweight management UI which allows you to easily manage your Docker environments On the other hand, Portainer is detailed as " Simple management UI for Docker".
